First, I was thinking to make hamburger, but I changed my mind. So I made furai which is the meal I cook only when I have time. I love deep fried food. Today, I had smelt fish, shrimp, asparagus, onion, potato and renkon(lotus root).
It has been cold for a while. Seriously, these are the most cold days in my life. I don't do winter sports. So I eat something good to enjoy this cold weather. Tonight dinner is seafood hot-pot which has lobster, crab legs, shrimps, cod, nappa cabbage, mushroom, bokchoy, bean noodle and tofu. I used the broth for udon noodle later. It was so good. Nabe is one of meals I would be hungry for in winter.
Due to the cold weather, J had a day off and dinner was ready when I got home. It was really nice for weekday dinner. Lamb steak and crab risotto! Of course, we opened a bottle of good red wine.
Last night, I was thinking about having sausage, eggs and bread for today's breakfast. I was drunk and I totally forgot that my stomach was not young anymore. This morning, I was like ... no way! I can't take any greasy sausage. My Japanese body needs comfort food. So I made simple udon soup.
This is the second time to go to Bar Marco. It's a good restaurant to go in the early evening on weekend without reservation. Still, I don't like that I have to order drink without the menu.
