Stuffed Cabbage

Dinner on March 27.

I had been hungry for Stuffed Cabbages for a while and I made them at last. Hmmm, it was not as good as I expected. It needed more seasonings. I am still hungry for Stuffed Cabbages! I will try them again soon.

Lamb curry

Lunch on March 22.

I had a big piece of leftover lamb neck meat. It was not that bad when I ate at the restaurant, but it smelled stronger next day. So I had it turn to curry. I added onion and cauliflower. It was good enough for lunch.

Root 174

Dinner at Root 174 on March 21.

I heard good about Root 174 and I could try it at last. I had a few appetizers to share and lamb for entree. It was good. But it's not special. I felt like it is one of good restaurants in Pittsburgh. I am not sure if I will come back. Don't get me wrong. If I live in Regent square, I would be back.

Black Caviar Caeser - The boiled egg was perfect cooked, medium rare.

Braised Octopus - If you like octopus, do NOT order this. It tasted good, but octopus was awful. I understand that it's difficult to get fresh octopus in Pittsburgh but If I were a chef, I wouldn't serve this quality of octopus to customers.

Braised Lamb Neck -  This meal is huge. Lamb is so rich. I couldn't finish at all. So I got a box to go ... you will see what it'll be turned out at home.

Thick burger at OTB in South Side.

Lunch at OTB on March 20.

OTB season has come! They open a whole year, but I usually go there by bike. I missed Thick burger a lot! There are many good burgers in Pittsburgh, but My favorite is Thick burger here. I pressed the burger down before taking the picture but yes, it is thick. The menu describes it, Glazed in BBQ sauce and topped with melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and then stacked THICK with our black and tan battered onion rings. That's just like a heaven. The sides fries are also tasty. They have good beer selections too. Get hungry and thirsty!

Neapolitan Spaghetti

Lunch on March 7.

I think Neapolitan Spaghetti was created in Japan. It's stir-fried spaghetti, vegetables and bacon or ham with Ketchup. It sounds like junk food, but I sometime get very hungry for this dish. I enjoyed my lunch a lot.

Sushi and Sashimi

Dinner on March 6.

I placed a take-out order at Kiku. It was good but Sushi and Sashimi is too expensive. I really wanna visit Japan just for food.

Steak and Mc & Blue Cheese

SMOKE barbeque taqueria

Lunch at SMOKE barbeque taqueria in Lawrenceville on March 1.

I had heard about SMOKE barbeque taqueria in Homestead and wanted to go for a long time. Now the second place was opened in Lawrenceville. It is BYOB but there is Atlas Bottle Works next door. You can enjoy delicious tacos and good beer. I enjoyed everything I had. It's like fancy tacos. It's different from Medoza, but I like both.

Pork Taco

Pork and Beans Enchiladas

Mac and Cheese - This is something you should order for side. It looks small, but it's nice portion to share.

Everyday Noodles

Lunch at Everyday Noodles on February 28.

When I go to authentic Chinese restaurants, I would like to have some people with me. Because the servings are usually too big for myself or to share with two. Everyday Noodles is a good place to go by myself or with someone. And Everyday noodles has delicious pork soup dumplings. You have to be careful not to burn your tongue when you eat them. I go to Every Noodles for the dumplings. I always order them and try something new. I enjoyed the meal today and I can't wait to come back and eat more!
