Umami in Lawrenceville

Wednesday, June 8.
Lose 4.2 lbs to the goal! - I didn't exercise much yesterday and ate rice more than I should have. Because the pork was really good with rice!

Dinner at Umami - I had heard good about the new restaurant in Lawrenceville, Umami. To be honest, I was very disappointed. The idea about the meal is good, and the food tasted good. However some of the food I ordered was overcooked. Maybe I would like to try again. Hopefully they cook right next time.

Hamachi Sashimi at Soba

Dinner at Soba on June 23.

Soba has a good happy hour but I just missed it today. I enjoyed meal. My favorite was Hamachi Sashimi. Yuzu Dressing worked really good. Def, I will order it again.

Hamachi Sashimi

Shitake Dumpling - I liked the stuffing. It could be perfect if the wrapper was thinner and crispier.

Seared Tuna - It was ok. Fried rice under neath was good ... I mean it was as good as one from food court.

Tamari

Dinner at Tamari on July 2.
Tamari is Asian/Latin-American cuisine. I don't order Sushi/Sashimi, but I like the meals as fusion menu. I enjoyed Sapporo Draft the most today.

Grit and Grace

Dinner on April 6.
I went to Grit and Grace which is a sister restaurant of Spoon and BRGR. They have some $5 dimsum menu. I like the idea. The server walked around and we can grab some from the tray. They usually have 5 kinds and the dimsum menu is changed occasionally. After some dimsum plates, we had salad, grilled chicken and ramen. I liked the atomosphere. Def, Ill be back.

Dimdum : Salmon Tartar

Dimdum : Pork Belly

Dimsum : Cheese rissot ball

Roasted carrots, Edamame, Romain Salad

Chicken Thigh and Fried rice - The chicken is very crispy!

Duck Ramen - Don't expect original ramen. The broth tasted like Japanese soba noodle one. It was ok.
