Stuffed Cabbage

I was going to have stuffed cabbage for dinner last night, but fortunately I could get fresh fish and I saved the stuffed cabbage for tonight. I started cooking yesterday and so the cabbage was so tender and stuffing was so juicy!

Stuffed Cabbage with Mac and Cheese: My mom's stuffed cabbage. She simmers stuffed cabbage in chicken broth. Yum.

Relax Sunday

Sunday, July 23
I went for a walk to a trail in North Shore in the morning. Fortunately the fish market was already open, so I bought some fish for dinner. I stayed in the kitchen all afternoon to clean and cook. That might sound boring but it was not that bad. I watched a movie, Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children. I am not a big fan of fantasy movies, but I enjoyed it!

Saturday lunch at Franklin Inn

My dad and brother visited and we went shopping together and had lunch at Franklin Inn. That's always the best way to spend Saturday afternoon.

Happy Hour at Pomodoro

Another long week is over. To treat myself, I went to Pomodoro for happy hour. I am still a newbie there and kindly some customers give us a good tip, like "It's happy hour by 6:30pm and all drinks are half off" or "Wings here are pretty goo", etc. They also have good daily special. Today they offered $3 Great Lakes bottles and $3.5 Captain Morgan.

Japanese Meal

I was going to cook yesterday, but J grilled chicken. So it's almost 1 week since I cooked last time. Then my body (stomach?) was screaming for Japanese food. It was not much but I am happy!
