Vacation in Islamorada

Islamorada in April, 2015.

I went to Islamorada for vacation. The place had a small kitchen and I didn't eat out much. So it didn't look anything special but just for my record.

I don't want to mention the restaurant name. I was fool to try sashimi. It smelt bad and tasted fishy. This was the first night in Islamorada and made me to decide to cook for the rest of the vacation.

China Palace on Walnuts Street

Lunch at China Palace on April 20.

I was so hungry for curb. So I went to eat Chinese. I had know that I should not have ordered lunch special. It was good but it was something I can eat at any other places. Anyway I enjoyed the pork dumplings. I ordered more than I can eat (well, to be honest, I could finish), so I saved them for tomorrow lunch. I don't think I come back. Because I can't find pork belly on the menu.

I drink Frozen Daiquiri here because beer is kinda over charged. Anyway Frozen Daiquiri is good drink in the beautiful afternoon.

Ovenbaked Cheese Omelet is one of my favorite meal I make. Ground beef and tons of cheese! Who can say no to my omelet?

Salad - Mix Baby Greens, Broccoli, Grape Tomatoes, Quinoa, Black Olives, Dried Figs, Crashed Almond. 

Oven-baked Cheese Omelet - Ground Beef, Onion, Carrot, Green Pepper, Mushrooms, Egg, Cheese, Ketchup, Salt & Pepper.

Simple Japanese Meal. Aji No Hiraki (Grilled Dried Spanish Mackerel), Broccolies, Scramble Tofu and Rice.

Taco rice is just like Chipotle's Burrito Bowl. It's easy to make. Mine has rice, ground beef, vegetable fajita, chopped salad, fresh diced tomatoes, salsa and shredded cheese.

Perfect Day For the Grill Out!

We have had great weather since Saturday. So I got steak out from freezer in the morning and prepared for dinner. I realized that one of the meat looked different from the other. It was lamb. Ooops, but lucky me. I enjoyed beef steak and lamb!

Chicken Sandwich at Willow.

Happy hour and dinner at Willow. I don't order chicken meals (except wings!) at restaurant because they are usually chicken breast. But I found that the chicken sandwich was made with thigh and legs! Yes, I love dark meat. The half of sandwich made me full and the leftover was saved for my lunch next day.

Ground Beef with Cilantro

I started gluten-free diet. Today, I stir-fried ground beef, cilantro, carrot, onion and mushrooms with fish sauce. It must go good with rice but I used leftover potatoes.
