I had a dentist appointment in the city this morning. I still had a few hours before going to work, I took a walk on a trail by river. It was a bit chilly but I liked it!

It is Tanabata (Summer Festival Day) in Japan. I didn't do/make anything special for it.

T-Born Steak

Dinner on November 5.

Steak is weekend meal for me. But J was ready for grilling when I got home. So I had fancy dinner on Thursday. Thank you, Chef J.

Japanese Hamburger

Dinner on August 27.

Japanese hamburger is usually made with ground beef & pork, onion and egg. So it is like meat loaf? Today I had brown sauce on the hamburger. Yum!

Chirashi-zushi

Dinner on August 2.

Can't believe it. It's already August? Summer is too short. I haven't enjoyed summer enough.

Tonight dinner: Chirashi-zushi (vinegar flavored rice mixed with veggies), Tomato and Daikon Radish Salad, Tori-Jaga(Chicken and Potatoes)

Pittsburgh Hash!

Breakfast at Pamela's on July 22.

My favorite breakfast, Pittsburgh Hash! I have been a huge fan of this meal since I had the first bite at the last visit. It's not on a menu. I found it on the new(?) menu ads on the window. The hash has potatoes (of course), Kilbasa and Sauerkraut, served with eggs and bread.
