I got a wisdom tooth out yesterday before going to work! Yes, BEFORE going to work. Fortunately, it was not bad. I took a pain killer and worked til 9 pm. I just avoided to eat food. All I had yesterday was just apple sauce. I am feeling like I lost 10 pounds. Anyway I went out for happy hour with my friends this evening. I had beer and soup just in case. But wings my friend ordered looked too good to say no. So tasty! I wanna come back soon just for wings.

I was off today. So I went to McConnells Mill State Park for hiking. Before hiking, I had lunch at Bella Frutteto to charge carb. lol. The Bella Frutteto is Italian restaurant but they didn't have pizza on their menu. They had variety of pasta instead. So I picked linguine with bolognese. I was happy with the pasta. Now this is the place to go for pasta!

It's My Birthday!

Yay, it's Friday finally! and it's my birthday. J asked me what I wanted to do, but I just wanted an easy and quiet evening. So we had champagne and some appetizer with Dad and neighbor. For lunch, my boss said "Happy birthday, your lunch is on me!" and gave me Olive garden gift card. So I think I had a good birthday!

After having a plan to go out with my friend, other friends invited me for a happy hour. If I had known earlier, I could have had the dinner plan on Saturday. Anyway, my friend suggested me a local Italian restaurant/pub/bar. I was not excited about it, but it was a nice surprise! I liked it. It is not like fancy Italian, but it's good enough to have in local.

Pay day baby! So I went out for lunch and KFC for dinner. It's getting chilly in the evening. I heard it's gonna snow this weekend. Crazy weather in Pittsburgh.

Meatball Sandwich (half): It's huge. I had just have half of half. I get hungry for meatball sandwich once in while. This is the place you should go.

I enjoyed my meals all day today. I did good job on my lunch and had great wings for dinner. I stole some french fries from my friend's plate, but other than that I stayed away from carbs. (Again, beer is not count)

Sweet & Spicy Thai Chili Wings: Domenico's is kinda Italian restaurant. So I didn't expect much but that's nice surprise! It was so good. And 12 pieces only for $9.95! Now this is my wing place in Cranberry. 

Greens & Beans: My friend's favorite. He orders this meal wherever he goes. I understand. It is delicious.

Lunch: Home Style Meatball from the Italian Bread Place - The meatball is so juicy and tasty. They will close on September 4th to relocate. The website doesn't say where the new location is, but hopefully its same place or somewhere close. I have to go back before Sep 4.

Dinner: Sausage & Mushrooms Pizza from Sir Pizza - Thin crust and square cutting. It's different but I like it!

Meeting friends at Proper before the Kinky Boots show. I ordered appetizer and pizza. It was ok. But the show was awesome!

Proper Antipasto: house-cured &smoked duck pastrami,baked orange zest ricotta, fresh house mozzarella, aged balsamic, spicy pickled peppers, house parmesan herb crackers, house banana pepper mustard - So, most of them house made .... Everything was mediocre. I won't order it again.

Margherita - It's simple. That's why it is difficult to make it very good? It was good.

Pizza in two days in row. I had been to Il Pizzaiolo in Mt. Lebanon, but this is first time to go to Market Square. It was good. I always liked the pizza at Il Pizzaiolo. but I found how much I love Spak Bros!

Dinner at Sienna Sulla Piazza on January 14.

Here is another restaurant I can enjoy pasta! Sienna has fresh pasta! Of course, it's not over cooked. I usually don't care about flat breads, but I am curious about it at this restaurant. Salad also looked good. I am already looking forward to coming back.

 

Meat and cheese - it was ok. I don't think I'll order again.

Wild Mushroom Bruschetta - Good smell of truffle. Good appetizer.

Bucatini with mozzarella stuffed meatballs - It comes with 2 big meatballs. The pasta was chewy and went good with tomato sauce.

Pasta at dish is awesome ....the appetizers are mediocre. I had known it. I just wanted give another chance, I ordered soup. Ok, I was right. If I am hungry for appetizers, just order a plate of pasta, and have pasta for main dish too. What I wanna say is Pasta tastes good.

Soup - Leek and Potato soup. Very mild and nice.

Pappardelle ai Funghi - Mushroom Pasta. The pasta has so flavorful. Three kinds of mushroom make good juice!

Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare - Seafood Pasta. I always like this pasta. I had red wine. I should have white wine. maybe next time!

Pizza Night

Yay! Pizza. I was hungry for Pizza for a while. I like simple cheese pizza. I like pizza here, Graziano's Pizzeria. Tons of cheese:) Calzones are good too, but it's kinda too heavy for me. Anyway I enjoyed the pizza a lot with fat head's IPA. Yes, they sell 6 packs!
