Coconut milk curry

I tried to make Thai curry. I found a very easy recipe .... it didn't work well. So I added chicken bouillon. But I am happy that I tried at least. I wanna try it again with my own recipe!

Cod with Mayo-Ponzu Sauce

Dinner on July 28.
It's still summer,  isn't it? hmmm. Thanks to the weather(?), I could enjoy miso-soup. It was a new recipe, Mayo-Ponzu Sauce for Cod. I added mushrooms. I liked it.

Dinner at Spoon on July 27.
One of my favorite restaurants.We had wine, Fuse. It was blended Cabernet. Good balance.

Gorgonzola bleu cheese souffle - The souffle was good and also the salad with peach tasted delicious.

Black summer truffle tagliatelle - Truffle! It smelt so good. It made me hungry for Truffle risotto at Nine on Nine.

Seared duck breat - I loved the breast but I was not a big fan for the sausage. Potato gratin was good. Orange grazed carrots tasted good, but it was crispy. I would prefer it well done.

Pork Hamburger

Dinner on July 26.
This was one of my best cooking night this year. I loved them all. I made garlic chive sauce and put it on pork hamburger. Kimpira gobo (burdock roots) and Konnyaku (stir-fry konjac jel).

Chinese dinner! You don't see vegetables? The spring roll has onion, carrot, green pepper and garlic chive. I think I have enough. :)

I got fresh noodles and I made stir-fried noodle. The noodle tasted good, but it was sticky. I wanna try again with different recipe.

Dinner at Cantina on July 15.
It was busy even on Tuesday. Especially outside. I understand because it smelt funny inside. It was good but not great. Why is Cantina that popular? Ok, I am very beginner for Mexican food. To be honest, I like Chipotle more. But it's a good place to hang out with friends.

Dinner at Butterjoint on July 14.
Butterjoint is Legumi's bar and also we can get food from Legumi. It was Monday and I didn't want to have big meal so I walked in to Butterjoint. The service is not great but I liked food (of course?). I would like to try Legumi next time.

Tartar sauce

Dinner on July 7.
Fried fish with tartar sauce. I don't care about fried fish but I LOVE tartar sauce. I made tartar sauce, mayo, pickles, onion, boiled egg, vinegar, salt and pepper. It was just ok. I wanna try a different pickles next time.

I have to go back to work. I kept eating and drinking this weekend. Let's finish the great weekend with wine.

Chicken teriyaki for breakfast

Breakfast on July 3.
As I mentioned many times here but I don't cook for breakfast. It's are but if I do, it's on Saturday or Sunday. Today is Thursday and I made breakfast. I set the alarm clock at 5:30am. Birthday? Anniversary? No! I just felt like it.

Tamari is Asian/Latin-American cuisine. I don't order Sushi/Sashimi, but I like the meals as fusion menu. I enjoyed Sapporo Draft the most today.
