I googled a recipe for artichokes. Oven grilled one looked good, but I didn't want to use oven for 45 minutes for only one artichoke. So I find the recipe using pressure cooker. Cooking time was only 10 minutes! That's for me!

Panzanella

It's been a while to make panzanella! I had all ingredients to make it ... but cucumbers! So I used zucchini instead. Ha! It worked!

I had to go to work today. After work, I sent a text to J and said "I am not gonna cook tonight. Would you like to make me dinner, eat out or take out food?". He made hamburger and tomato salad. Lucky me.

I had a off today. I took a long walk with my dogs in the morning, had lunch and went for a short bike ride.

Kushi Katsu: Pork, Shrimp, Zucchini, Onion, Mushroom, Green Beans

- I like breaded deep fried food (who doesn't!), but it's hard to make it good at home. And a whole house would smell like oil after cooking. Def, I would have to go to Kushi Katsu restaurant when I visit Japan next time.

I had quick dinner before going out for bike ride and kickball game. I came back around 9:30 pm and enjoyed wine and snack.

My long busy summer is over. To treat myself, I went to Rochester Inn. It was ribs night! It was just ok, but I enjoyed a lot my beer and Jager bomb.

I found a bag of frozen Spanish Mackerel at Costco in Homestead. I was excited and bought 2 bags. I don't see the Spanish Mackerel sold in Robinson and Cranberry.
