Dinner on June 5.
Buta-Kakuni (Cooked Pork Belly). The recipe said that it needed cooking sake and mirin (sweet and less alcohol content cooking sake). Of course, I don't have them. So I used beer instead of sake and added additional sugar. It worked ok. But it's just ok. Should I get cooking sake??? hmmm, I will try to invent the new recipe without cooking sake.
